This 6-week program focuses on mindfulness and self-compassion as powerful skills that can change your relationship to your mind, your life, and yourself. Through guided practice, reflection, and discussion participants will learn to understand and work with the busy and critical mind, cultivate a friendlier relationship with themselves, find motivation through encouragement rather than criticism, handle difficult emotions with greater ease, and incorporate practices into everyday life. This course is useful for newer students as well as more experienced meditators.
6 weekly, 1.5 hour classes
Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:30pm
